  • Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg Wants to Create an AI Clone of Himself to Attend Meetings

    God, the future fucking sucks.
A photo of Mark Zuckerberg. If you gaze long into an abyss, the abyss also gazes into you.

Totally normal and real "human" Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg is reportedly trying to make an AI clone of himself in order to attend meetings. According to The Verge (citing The Financial Times) Meta is training a unique AI on Zuckerberg's image, voice, mannerisms, tone, and public statements in order to let employees "feel more connected to the founder through interactions with it."

Hahahaha, oh man. What are we doing? This shit is why hardware prices are so high? So we can make an AI version of a guy that already comes across as less human than anything Boston Dynamics has ever created? Fucking hell.

Anyway, according to the report the Zuck himself is involved in the training of the AI avatar. Meta and Zuckerberg were previously working on creating an "AI agent of himself to help him complete tasks." That AI version of Zuckerberg is reportedly separate from the AI avatar version of him that will attend meetings.

Zuckerberg is also allegedly spending five to ten hours per week coding on other AI projects within Meta. He is also reportedly participating in technical reviews. Is he though? Or is it his AI avatar participating in these reviews? The world may never know.

The Financial Times says that Meta could allow creators to make AI avatars of themselves if the AI Zuckerberg project is a success. These creator created AI avatars would be used to "interact with followers' comments on Instagram." Many of those comments are probably already generated by AI and bots, as "automated traffic grew 8x faster than human traffic" throughout 2025. If successful with their AI avatars, it will just be bots all the way down. The dead Internet continues to thrive.

This is Meta's new business focused VR headset.

Meta, formerly Oculus and Facebook, just announced a new high-end virtual reality headset. Dubbed the Meta Quest Pro, this $1,500 (USD) piece of hardware is the company's "most advanced headset yet."

Set to release on October 25, the Meta Quest Pro is not a device aimed at gamers. In fact, it's not really aimed at anybody but businesses and professionals. That could, at least in this case, account for the reason...
