CD Projekt RED will soon release an update for Cyberpunk 2077 that will be sure to leave PlayStation 5 Pro owners smiling. Cyberpunk 2077 will get PlayStation 5 Pro enhancements in a free update that will be released in the "not-too-distant future."
This update will not include any new content. Instead, the update will allow Cyberpunk 2077 to take better advantage of the increased power of the Pro hardware compared to the base PlayStation 5.
Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the titles that will also soon benefit from the upgraded PSSR that was just added to the PlayStation 5 Pro. This upscaling technology, nicknamed PSSR 2 by fans, is basically just a straight up upgrade for the original PSSR technology that developers could use for PlayStation 5 Pro enhanced titles. While several titles are already making use of PSSR 2, Cyberpunk 2077 is one of a handful of PS5 Pro enhanced titles that will get an update "in the coming weeks."
