Cyanide Studio and Nacon announced today that the latest installment of the stealth focused series is out now for some players. Today's release of the Quartz Edition of the game should be live for those on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and Epic.
Styx: Blades of Greed picks up after the events of the second game, Styx: Shards of Darkness. Shards of Darkness was a follow-up to Styx: Master of Shadows. Blades of Greed is said to refine the "proven formula of its predecessors," retaining core focuses on freedom and creativity.
Players take on the role of Styx, a cunning goblin with a sharp mind and a master of stealth. His objective is to get his hands on Quartz, the most valuable and dangerous resource in a world on the brink of war between elves, humans, and orcs. He can freely explore vast vertical environments thanks to new tools such as a grappling hook and a glider, as well as new powers. Players must help the master of shadows infiltrate locations and steal Quartz by stealthily eliminating enemies along the way.
