Konami shared that their story-driven, adventure platformer known as Darwin's Paradox! will release on April 2 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, Steam, and Epic. The game is being worked on in partnership with ZDT Studio, a small studio of independent developers.
In Darwin's Paradox! you play as Darwin, a "cunning cephalopod naturally equipped with camouflage, suction-covered arms for scaling, and an ink shooter to distract dangerous predators and other threats." Players will tackle challenging platforming levels as an octopus on a mission. The goal? To return to the see from it came.
A demo for Darwin's Paradox! is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, Steam, and Epic. This will give you a chance to try out the game before its full release and includes some "subtle call backs to Konami's other well-known espionage tactician and master of stealth." Of course, there is also an exclusive "Snake" skin for a part of the demo. In the full game, this skin will be added as an Easter Egg for fans to find.
Those who pre-purchase the game will get the "Psyched" and "Dotted" skins for Darwin.
