  • Nvidia Launches Remix Logic and Announces New DLSS 4 Supported Games

Plus a new GPU driver, 591.86, released.

A new Game Ready Driver is available today from Nvidia. The new GPU driver, 591.86, is focused on ARC Raiders' Headwind update, Arknights: Endfield, and Highguard. Both ARC Raiders: Highwind and Arknights: Endfield have DLSS 4 support added while Highguard is just the general "Game Ready" part. This new driver also fixes an artifacting issue with Total War: Three Kingdoms.

There are also a couple of general bugs fixed in the driver update. First, an issue was resolved where people saw color banding on SDR content when Windows Automatic Color Management was enabled. Secondly, an issue was fixed where Asus G14 owners saw a freeze on startup when Asus Ultimate Mode was enabled.

The new driver is available through the Nvidia app or direct from Nvidia's website.

Nvidia also released Remix Logic today, which is an update for RTX Remix. This update allows modders "to easily trigger dynamic graphics effects throughout a game based on a wide variety of game events."

Historically, modifying a game's graphics to respond to real-time game events required source code or engine access. Now, Remix’s powerful Logic system allows modders to dynamically transform visuals using 900 Remix graphics settings, based on in-game events in over 165 classic games. With Logic, modders can set weather and fog conditions to trigger only when the player’s current position is outdoors, allowing for more targeted modifications. Remix Logic is flexible, with over 30 supported game events, including the player’s camera state, world bounding boxes, any object’s state, the flow of time, and even the keys a player presses. For example, in Half-Life 2 RTX, we can create a door that opens to a multiverse of Ravenholms, each with its own lighting and weather conditions. Each time the door opens, it triggers a new Ravenholm to be rendered.
They share an example of what they describe in the video seen below.

Finally, Nvidia shares word about several titles that are getting DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Gen support. These titles include the just released Code Vein 2 and Highguard.

    • Half Sword: Half Sword Games and Game Seer Publishing's Half Sword is an immersive, physics-based medieval combat simulator that offers players a unique experience of becoming a commoner-turned-knight, fighting brutal tournaments in 15th-century Europe. When the game launches in Early Access on Jan. 30, GeForce RTX gamers can maximize frame rates using DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation. And NVIDIA app users can upgrade to DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution, for those seeking even higher levels of image quality.
    • CODE VEIN II: Bandai Namco’s CODE VEIN II features a deep narrative where players and characters are bound by blood, fate, and destiny, set in a future where the last remnants of humanity and Revenants struggle against a world on the verge of collapse. Advanced Access begins today, followed by the game’s general release on Jan. 30. GeForce RTX players can accelerate frame rates using DLSS Super Resolution.
    • Highguard: A free-to play PvP raid shooter, Highguard lets players ride, fight, and raid as Wardens, arcane gunslingers sent to fight for control of a mythical continent. Team up, secure your base, then ride out across vast uncharted lands to loot, harvest resources, and upgrade your arsenal as you face off against a rival Warden crew looking to claim your territory as their own. GeForce RTX gamers playing Highguard can accelerate frame rates with DLSS Super Resolution. And via the NVIDIA app, this can be upgraded to our new 2nd generation transformer AI models, further enhancing clarity and fidelity.
    • ARC Raiders: Having sold over 12 million copies since its launch at the end of October, ARC Raiders, Embark Studios’ PvPvE extraction adventure, needs little introduction. Today, the Headwinds Update adds even more content, and new gameplay twists. And when you get to experience these new additions, DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, NVIDIA Reflex, and NVIDIA RTXGI will be there to enhance immersion, increase responsiveness and accelerate frame rates.
    • Arknights: Endfield: Developed by HYPERGRYPH, and published by GRYPHLINE in Europe and North America, Arknights: Endfield is a 3D real-time strategy RPG, set in the world of Arknights, the wildly successful mobile tower defense RPG hybrid. Endministrators with a GeForce RTX 50 Series GPU can activate DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation to multiply frame rates by an average of 3X at 4K, with all of Arknights: Endfield’s settings maxed out. For even higher fidelity when using DLSS Super Resolution’s Performance and Ultra Performance modes, all GeForce RTX gamers can now activate our new 2nd Generation Transformer DLSS models in the NVIDIA app. Our new GeForce Game Ready Driver will further optimize your experience.
