TCL is ready to enter into the gaming monitor market in the United States in a big way. The company is already quite well-known in these parts for their gaming-focused televisions. I've used a TCL TV in my bedroom for a couple of years now and it's been quite nice across the board, from watching TV shows, movies, YouTube, and when I play games on my PlayStation 5.
Now, TCL is primed to release several different QD-Mini LED gaming monitors in the United States.
These monitors were first unveiled and used during this week's Call of Duty: NEXT event held in Las Vegas, Nevada. Gamers not only got an opportunity to try out Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 ahead of the game's release, but they were also the first to demo these new TCL gaming monitors.
TCL says that all options in their new gaming monitor offerings will feature QD-Mini LEDs, high refresh rates, VRR with adaptive sync, high resolution options, "strong black levels, and fine shadow detail." QD-Mini LEDs were first introduced by TCL in their televisions. They describe the technology as such:
