The first wave of these highly anticipated products is set to be unveiled at MagicCon: Atlanta. Following the debut, a full global release for the first series of Dragon Shield x Magic: The Gathering accessories is slated for late 2025.To commemorate the occasion, an exclusive "Dracogenesis" art sleeve will be available at MagicCon: Atlanta. The artwork, based on this year's popular Tarkir Dragonstorm set, was specifically "chosen to symbolize the launch of this collaboration," perfectly bridging Dragon Shield's draconic theme with the iconic dragons of the Magic multiverse. This exclusive item is sure to be a must-have for collectors and players attending the event.
The first products under the collaboration will debut in two distinct series that honor MAGIC's enduring legacy:
- The Legendary Series will feature some of the most iconic legendary creatures from MAGIC: THE GATHERING's history. Appropriately, the first Legendary Series sleeves will feature The Ur-Dragon as Dual Matte Art sleeves – a fan-favorite that embodies the timeless power and imagination the series seeks to honor.
- The Landfall Series draws inspiration from the landscapes that form the foundation of MAGIC: THE GATHERING. To launch the series, Dragon Shield will release a series of five Dual Matte Art sleeves featuring the five Tarkir: Dragonstorm fetch lands in their showcase forms, celebrating both the artistry and the gameplay significance that lands bring to MAGIC.
