    The show is scheduled to last about 35 minutes and, according to the official PlayStation Blog, will be filled with "reveal and news from developers around the world."

    What to Expect from the September 2025 State of Play

    While this State of Play will not be a major first-party showcase, Sony has provided a clear outline of what fans can look forward to.

    • Main Focus: The show will primarily spotlight upcoming third-party and indie titles coming to PlayStation consoles.
    • PlayStation Studios Update: Sony confirmed there will also be some updates from PlayStation Studios teams.
    • Extended Look at Saros: The biggest confirmed reveal is an "extended look" at Saros, the highly-anticipated next title from Housemarque (the studio behind Returnal). Fans will get to see five minutes of new Saros gameplay, which is expected to release in 2026.
