It's the year 2000 and 25, we are getting a new Hellraiser game. This horror franchise first came to life in 1987 courtesy of horror master Clive Barker. Now, it's being made into a new, single-player, survival horror action game for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. Perhaps the best thing here is that actor Doug Bradley is returning to portray Pinhead for the first time in nearly two decades.
Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival will put players up against Pinhead. In this new chapter of the Hellraiser story, you play as Aidan, "who must unlock the dark powers of the Genesis Configuration, a mysterious puzzle box, to help his girlfriend from a hellish abyss." You, as Aidan, will make use of the box's "infernal abilities" to survive against Pinhead and battle against his twisted cult of followers as well as the Cenobites.

This a thousand fold. The original movie is a classic, and I've loved Clive Barker's books (and Undying). Deserves some careful treatment for sure. I hope they will tear my preconceived cynicism apart.
