It's been seven years coming, but SCUM has just left Early Access with today's launch of version 1.0. With today's exodus from Early Access, Scum has received a new graphical overhaul, armed NPCs, vehicles, and a better anti-cheat system. Scum retails for $44.99 with more information found on the official Scum website.
The 1.0 release also includes new and returning modes of transportation. There is the Seaplane, Tractor, and Sports Bike. The intro of armed NPCs also means that the dangers have increased and so have the looting opportunities.
Scum is a PvPvE open-world survival simulator. It boasts about having "unmatched realism and deeply complex survival mechanics." You can either play solo as an escaped supermax prisoner, or in a server with up to 64 players per server.
