Remedy's multiplayer co-op shooter is almost here.

Remedy Entertainment announced that their upcoming three-player co-op FPS set in the world of Control, FBC: Firebreak, will release on June 17, 2025. The game will release on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Steam, and Epic Games Store for $39.99. It will also be available day one on Game Pass and PlayStation Plus Game Catalog (Extra and Premium tiers).

Today's release date and pricing announcements came during a full reveal livestream. It featured live gameplay of a never-before-seen Job called Hot Fix. There were also additional looks at the Paper Chase Job and "Sticky Ricky." There was also plenty of behind the scenes commentary from the devs.

Remedy also revealed the FBC: Firebreak Deluxe Edition for $49.99. This includes a bunch of exclusive cosmetics and premium voice packs.

Remedy also mentioned the Requisitions system. Just by playing the game, players will be able to unlock new weapons, equipment, armor, sprays, and more. They reiterate that there are no time limitations on unlocking items.

The team also said that they plan to add at least two new Jobs in 2025 after the game's launch. They mention that more updates will arrive in 2026 but did not specify what content might be added next year. All playable content will be free to everyone that owns the game.
