As part of today's Nintendo Switch 2 Direct, CD Projekt Red revealed that Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition will be included as one of the new console's launch lineup. The Switch 2 is expected to launch on June 5th, so expect Cyberpunk to release around that time.
As this is the Ultimate Edition of the game, it will include both the base game of Cyberpunk 2077 along with the Phantom Liberty expansion. This will mark the first time that Cyberpunk is available on Nintendo hardware.
Cyberpunk 2077 on the Switch 2 will make use of some of the Switch 2 features. These include gyroscope aiming, motion controls, touch screen commands, and mouse capabilities.
The Switch 2 release of Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition will be released on a 64GB game card or digitally through the Nintendo eShop.
The open-world action-adventure RPG will become available to Nintendo players for the first time ever, giving them the opportunity to step into the shoes of cyber-enhanced mercenary V and fight for glory and survival in the dark future. Players can explore Night City, one of the most immersive worlds in gaming, across both the base game and its spy-thriller expansion Phantom Liberty, available together in one ultimate package.
