Raccoon Logic announced that their new sci-fi adventure, Revenge of the Savage Planet, will launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Game Pass, and PC on May 8th. Those that purchase the Cosmic Hoarder Edition will get three days of advance access starting on May 5th.
This sequel brings new challenges, new gear, new critters, new humor, new hostile planets, and new levels of corporate greed. This release will also allow you to play in third-person, which is at least two persons more than the first game, Journey to the Savage Planet, allowed you to play in.
The basic gist of Revenge of the Savage Planet is that you were abandonded on an alien planet by Alta Interglobal, your now former employer. In order to survive, you will utilize whatever you can in order to return home. There's a bit of light crafting but mainly in the form of crafting new and upgraded tools. Tools like the goo cannon, lassos, pistols, mag forks, and more.
Revenge of the Savage Planet starts at $39.99. There's a $49.99 digital only Cosmic Hoarder Edition, and a $49.99 "D1 Retail Edition" that is physical only. Details on these different editions and an overview of the game can be found below.
