This wasn't already shutdown?
Capcom is pulling the plug on their multiplayer Resident Evil game, Resident Evil Re:Verse. The shutdown will take place in June as Capcom reaches "a new turning point for the series."
Capcom announced the planned shutdown in a new blog post. In the post, they say that Resident Evil Re:Verse "exceeded expectation." They say that Resident Evil Re:Verse was made as a celebration of the 25th anniversary of the franchise and that Re:Verse "served its original, celebratory purpose admirably."
On March 3rd, Resident Evil Re:Verse and all downloadable content will be pulled from storefronts. Those who already own the game will be able to access it and continue playing until June 29th. On June 29th the servers will be shutdown and you will no longer be able to play Re:Verse at all.
When Resident Evil Re:Verse was released back in October 2022 it was panned by critics and fans alike. There was next to no player base even at launch, hitting a Steam player peak count of just 2,115 at release. Over the past couple of years, the average player count failed to surpass even 25 players most days.
If you thought this game was already shutdown a long time back, you would not be alone. I was honestly just as surprised as you probably are.

by Shawn ZipayGet ready for the return of Nemesis in April 2020.
Capcom officially announced Resident Evil 3 remake today. It's just called Resident Evil 3, just as the Resident Evil 2 remake was just Resident Evil 2. Confusing for us older gamers? Yeah, just a bit.
The revival of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis will be released on April 3, 2020. It will come out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. For those of you who never played the original back when it launched on the original...-
