The week of the Consumer Electronics Show is upon us and that means we're in at least a few cool, weird, and unique product announcements. I'll leave it up to you to decide which of those options applies to the newly announced T0 Aurena gaming chair from Creative Technology and chair maker TGIF Gaming.
The T0 Aurena is an upcoming ergonomic chair designed in collaboration between Creative and TGIF that incorporates speakers and Creative's audio technologies into a gaming chair. Creative will make use of their SoundBlaster CMSS3D+ technology to surround you with game audio produced from your computer.
I can only assume that this chair connects via Bluetooth or another wireless technology to send the audio from your PC to the chair itself. I say "assume" because Creative is a bit light on the details with this product announcement. It is making its debut at CES 2025 this week, so perhaps more details will emerge as the week progresses.
The T0 Aurena won't be released until some time in Q2 2025, or April 2025 at the earliest. As for the price, I am not expecting it to be cheap. The "T0-Ergonomic Gaming Chair" from TGIF seems to be regularly priced at $649 USD, with a current sale price of $479. They even offer a "T0 Max" model that bumps the MSRP to $799. These chairs look to be similar in design to the one shared in Creative's press release today, so expect it to be priced in line with the other T0 lineup.
