The second trailer for Sonic the Hedgehog 3 was released today. It has a lot packed into just a couple of minutes including a Chao Garden, Shadow with a gun, pissing on the Moon, some action, some comedy, Detective Pikachu, and plenty of emotions.
For those wanting the Chao Garden to make a return from Sonic Adventure 2, this may not be quite what you were hoping for. The Chao Garden in Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is a themed restaurant where performers dress up as Chao perform on stage and interact with the young visitors. There are two Dr. Robotniks/Eggmans in the movie. Eggmen? Both of them are played by Jim Carrey.
We also hear a bit more of Keanu Reeves voicing Shadow the Hedgehog. There is plenty of conflict between Shadow and Sonic, who is once again voiced by Ben Schwartz. We get a look at a young girl named Maria that plays a role in those aforementioned emotions. Idris Elba as Knuckles is also there being a bit aloof but fantastic.
I gotta say, it's looking pretty good! The first two Sonic films have been well received already. Sonic the Hedgehog 3 will hit theaters on December 20.
