Ubisoft released a surprise update for Assassin's Creed Syndicate on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 5 Pro that bumps that framerate up to 60 FPS. This free update basically doubles the framerate of the game.
Assassin's Creed Syndicate first came out in 2015 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Prior to this update, the game was playable on the current generation of consoles through backwards compatibility mode, which still kept the framerate at just 30 FPS.
Today's new update also bumps the resolution up to 4K for everything but the Series S.
If you haven't played Syndicate yet, you just got a great reason to give it a go. It's a great entry in the Assassin's Creed franchise.
