The odd, unsettling, and often confusing horror series, Pathologic, is getting a third entry. Ice-Pick Lodge announced Pathologic 3 today, complete with all the weirdness you've come to expect from the series but now with the added weirdness of time travel.
Players assume the role of Daniil Dankovsky, a doctor from the big city who travels to a remote town to solve a mystery about a plague that has been destroying lives. Publisher HypeTrain Digital that Dankovsky will attempt to "conquer death itself." Much like the previous games, you will be in a race against time, 12 days to be exact. This time though you will be have a limited time travel capability that will let you jump back in time. This will allow players to "revisit key events and alter them."
Dankovsky will have to examine patients, attempt to create treatments, implement quarantines, confiscate bad medicine, impose curfews, and setup patrols to make sure everyone is doing what they should be.
Pathologic 3 is targeting a 2025 release date.
