The free-to-play looter shooter The First Descendant just received its first major content update since its release. Nexon added in two new Descendant characters, a new Void Intercept Boss Battle, a new Ultimate Weapon, and new Ultimate Module.
The first fully new playable character added in today's update is Luna. Luna utilizes a synthesizer gun that grants her added power and enhances allies when fired to the rhythm of her music. The synthesizer buffs can be changed based on what music she listens to, from enhancing allies skill power, recovering MP, and decreasing resource consumption.
The other new Descendant added today is the Ultimate version of Valby. Ultimate Valby wears a "Sea of Emerald" nano suit and grants her access to new modification modules: Spiral Tidal Wave and Hydro Pressure Bomb. The Sea of Emerald suit seems to be heavily inspired by Ultimate Bunny in that it leaves very little left to the imagination.
The new Void Intercept Boss Battle is against Gluttony. The new Ultimate Weapon is "Peace Mediator" and it is a new hand cannon that "can unleash a burst of bullets" under the right conditions. The new Ultimate Module is "Arche Concretion." More details on these additions can be found below.

- Depending on the type of music she dances to, Luna can increase her allies’ skill power, recover their MP, and decrease their resource consumption.
- New Descendant: Ultimate Valby – The Magisters have finally completed Valby's ultimate equipment, the revolutionary "Sea of Emerald" nano suit. This upgrade grants Valby access to two powerful new modification modules: the "Spiral Tidal Wave" and the "Hydro Pressure Bomb."
- Void Intercept Boss Battle: Gluttony - The Devourer-type Colossus is equipped with systems to mine Void Energy and cool generated heat. To counter it, players will need to withstand its cooling and exploit its greedy temperament. Descendants that Intercept Gluttony will collect blueprints for new ultimate weapons and external components.
- Ultimate Weapon “Peace Mediator” - This powerful hand cannon is effective with single shots and can unleash a burst of bullets to deliver powerful firepower under the right conditions.
- Ultimate Module "Arche Concretion" - This module increases defense and MP when using skills but decreases movement speed and attack power. Particularly useful for Luna and Ajax, it can be a good choice for Descendants that focus on skill use.
