    BossKey Finally Halts LawBreakers Development

BossKey Productions announced today that it will finally end ongoing development for LawBreakers across all platforms. To say that the game experienced a short-lived life may be a massive understatement. It has been effectively dead on the PC side for months now, so this should probably not come as any surprise. BossKey notes that they will continue to support LawBreakers as it currently remains. This will be nothing more than routine maintenance and perhaps an update if something completely breaks the game. However due to very few people purchasing the game, they will be unable to generate the funds to continue ongoing development of the game...

LawBreakers Has a New Look, Is Exclusive to Steam, and No Longer F2P

Cliff Bleszinski from Boss Key Productions revealed some updated details concerning LawBreakers, their upcoming competitive FPS. Originally, the plan was to release the game as a free-to-play option, facilitated by their publisher, Nexon.

Speaking at GDC, Bleszinski announced some major changes to the game starting off with the fact that the game is no longer going to be F2P. On top of that, the game is now also exclusive to the Steam platform and will not have a separate launcher. Last, but not least, the game has also undergone a visual change from its logo down to character designs.

While a price hasn't been revealed, it seems as though Bleszinski is aiming for a point that is less than $60.
"Is there a grey area between free-to-play and 60 dollars?" Bleszinski

Robotoki Ditches Both Publisher Nexon and Free-to-Play Model

The Indie studio, Robotoki, has decided to ditch their planned free-to-play model for Human Element. They now plan to release the game as a paid product in November of 2015. As a result of this move, Robotoki had to end its publishing agreement with Nexon. They have also, unfortunately, laid off a portion of its staff as a result of this change.

The Founder of Robotoki, Robert Bowling, issued a statement on this move.
"As the game evolved we realized that the elements that make Human Element the most fun would be hindered by keeping it a free-to-play experience. "Therefore, we made the decision to switch to a premium experience for our pla
