The post-apocalyptic story of the Fallout TV series, based on the popular game franchise, comes to life in a new trailer released by Amazon Prime Video today. The trailer promises a mix of humor and horror, as well as a glimpse of the Ghoul character, portrayed by Walter Goggins.

The trailer offers a glimpse at Goggins's character before the bombs fell, when he was just a happy family man named Cooper Howard. Naturally, we also get a look at his life after the bombs dropped, as a salesman that sold space within the Vaults. We get a look at Lucy, the Valut Dweller played by Ella Purnell. We also get a look at the character of Maximus (Aaron Moten), who is a soldier in the Brotherhood of Steel. This newest trailer also offers up quick glimpses of the characters named Moldaver (Sarita Choudhury) and Ma June (Dale Dickey).

Goggins, in speaking at a special trailer event for press on Wednesday, said that his Ghoul is "a guide through this irradiated hellscape." He says that the character wields a wicked sense of humor while also being ruthless.

The release date of the Fallout TV series on Prime Video has been moved up by a day. Instead of releasing on April 12, the show will now debut on April 11.
