An announcement is expected to take place soon.
For a little while now, rumors suggested that Xbox will begin to offer many of their first-party titles on competing hardware platforms. Just this week, those rumors were given more substance from a number of sources that say games such as Starfield, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Hi-Fi Rush, and even Gears of War could end up on PlayStation 5 and the Nintendo Switch.
If these new reports are to be believed, these first-party titles would appear first on Xbox (and presumably PC) before getting releases on PlayStation and Nintendo platforms several months later.
The question is: How do you feel about this move from Xbox to go multi-platform on some of their first-party titles?
Would you be interested in playing something like Gears of War on PlayStation or is that a little too sacrilege to you? Maybe you're an Xbox fan and you see this as a betrayal from Microsoft? You may laugh but there are people on social media who are actually upset for that very reason.
Feel free to say why you're for or against this move in the comments below!

#2cikame commented02-22-2024, 12:47 PMEditing a commentAnother weird turn for this industry but i don't mind it, i just don't know what it does for competition, it makes sense for Sony to release games on PC because they're opening up their expensive mostly single player games to a wider audience, and any fans they make along the way might pick up a Playstation, win win. For Xbox they're... kind of just making it so that Playstation owners can play their games, to me it feels like an admission of losing the battle this generation so they're expanding the availability of their games in the hopes that next time things turn out different, which is why they've already announced that their next console will be "the largest technical leap you will have ever seen"... so get ready for those even higher resolution shadows or something.
