Take with a grain of salt.

The Metal Gear Solid 3 remake, otherwise known as Meta Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater (the Δ is pronounced as "delta"), might be coming out some time this year. This year now being 2024, of course.

This is according to a new PlayStation advertisement that went up this week. This new advertisement is being used by PlayStation to shine a light on some of the titles that are coming out for the PlayStation 5 in 2024. Besides Metal Gear Solid Δ, the advert also shows off titles such as The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, and more.

It's that "and more" that piqued the interest of many who have seen the video. Besides mentioning the Metal Gear Solid 3 remake, the advert also says that the Silent Hill 2 remake from Bloober Team will be out in 2024.

This apparent leak by PlayStation is interesting in that the publisher of both Metal Gear Solid Δ and Silent Hill 2, Konami, has yet to reveal any release dates for either title.
