Konami was a small part of today's Xbox Partner Preview showcase event. That "small part" included a fresh look at the upcoming Metal Gear Solid 3 remake that they are working on. As you may recall, the official name for this upcoming remake is Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater, or Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater.
This game was first revealed during a PlayStation Showcase in May 2023. Today, more footage from this remake was shown off. What was shown during today's Xbox Partner Preview was the first reveal of the game running in-engine. That engine is none other than Unreal Engine 5.
A release date for Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater has not yet been revealed. Expected release platforms include PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
