Saber Interactive teamed up with Colin Kaepernick, the NFL Players Association, and OneTeam Partners to create and now release Wild Card Football. Wild Card Football is the latest installment of the "Playgrounds" series of games, which are very much arcade-styled sports titles.
Wild Card Football allows you to create your own dream team from a roster of hundreds of pro football players. Some of the big names found in the game include Colin Kaepernick, Jalen Hurts, Patrick Mahomes, Justin Jefferson, T.J. Watt, Joey bosa, Travis Kelce, Ja'Marr Chase, Aaron Donald, and plenty more. This game pits two teams of seven players each against each other in games that let you use power-ups and "rule-breaking abilities."
Colin Kaepernick shares some thoughts about Wild Card Football.
"You don't want to miss out on Wild Card Football! We set out to create a game that took football to another level," said Colin Kaepernick, who consulted on the title and appears both in-game as a playable character and on its cover art. "Players get to experience a merging of traditional football and out of this world power-ups. The unexpected twists, created by the power-ups, lead to new moves and new strategies. Wild Card Football is unlike anything I have ever seen or played before."
Wild Card Football is available today on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation®4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. There are three editions for fans to choose from:
