There's about to be a whole lot more dead Tyranid.
Key art visual for the game Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2.

Or would that be Tyranids? I'm not 100% sure. Either way, those jerks are gonna be got good when Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 launches this winter. This third-person title from Focus Entertainment, Saber Interactive, and Games Workshop just announced tonight that the entire campaign can be played in groups of up to three co-op partners.

Don't have some live co-op partners to play with? Not to worry because you will also be able to play with AI companions if desired. Yes, you can also play the game completely solo if you want. This isn't forced co-op here.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is out this winter on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. There is a $250 Collector's Edition of the game for every platform that includes a hand painted resin statue (with interchangeable head), art book with behind the scenes details, Steelbook case, unique cover art, the game itself, and the Macragge's Chosen DLC.

As showcased in the co-op campaign reveal trailer, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 features a gripping narrative that follows fan-favorite Lieutenant Titus—powerfully portrayed by actor Clive Standen. Embody the superhuman skill and brutality of the Emperor's greatest warriors by unleashing deadly abilities and an arsenal of devastating weaponry on the relentless Tyranid hordes, solo or cooperatively with friends or AI in three-player co-op.
