Render of the box art and logo for Call of Duty: The Board Game.

There is a Call of Duty board game in the works. It's being called simply Call of Duty: The Board Game and it's in development from Arcane Wonders, Activision Publishing, Genuine Entertainment, and Evolution. Because even the board game version of this franchise requires multiple studios working on it.

Pre-orders will kick off on Kickstarter this fall. There will be a worldwide retail release of Call of Duty: The Board Game at some point in 2024. In this board game, players will become elite Operators and enter into battle with signature weapons and combat skills. This board game will ship "with an exciting array of iconic maps, a variety of intense game modes, and team-based objectives." You will "blow away enemies with the game's intuitive action system."

I'm being told that there will be additional information coming about Call of Duty: The Board Game in the months ahead and that I should "stay frosty."

The original game will feature stunning artwork and high-quality components, including miniatures of the iconic soldiers and weapons from the Call of Duty franchise, as well as a variety of scenarios and gameplay modes that allow players to savor and share the excitement of Call of Duty in a whole new way.

"We're thrilled to be partnering with Activision to bring the Call of Duty franchise to the tabletop," said Bryan Pope, CEO of Arcane Wonders and one of the game's lead designers. "As life-long COD fans, we've worked hard to capture the scope, stakes, and sheer intensity of the video games in ways that COD fans and board gamers new and old will love. We're looking forward to bringing the unforgettable fun and competitive frenzy of COD to game night for years to come."
