The second trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom was shown during yesterday's Nintendo Direct. The trailers gives us a deeper look at this Breath of the Wild sequel. It also gives us a little taste of a new voice.
That voice in question is assumed to be that of Ganon. It's also assumed by fans that Ganon is being voiced by Matthew Mercer. Mercer has done voicework in hundreds of games and animated shows over the years. You may recognize him as the voice of "John" from Taco Bell: Nacho Fries - Fry Force. More probable is that you recognize him as the voice of Cassidy from Overwatch 2, the Human Male player voice in Destiny 2, Rexxar (and several others) in World of Warcraft, and Leon S. Kennedy in several Resident Evil games and films.
Another interesting thing revealed about The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is its price tag. It looks like this game will retail for $69.99 (USD), at least through the Nintendo eShop. Pre-orders are available now for Tears of the Kingdom in the eShop.
Tears of the Kingdom will be out on May 12, 2023.
