There are at least three of them coming this year.
It's near the start of the month. It's a new month, a new year, but probably the same you. 2023 will have a number of remakes and remasters released, same as the previous few years. While there are remakes and remasters of games such as Like a Dragon: Ishin and Risk of Rain Returns slated to be released in 2023, we're going to focus only on the horror remakes in the pipeline.
That means, I'm asking just one simple question: Out of the three major horror game remakes that we know are coming in 2023, which single one are you looking forward to the most? You only get one choice on this month's poll, so choose wisely!
The ones that we know of for 2023 are Dead Space on January 27, Resident Evil 4 on March 24, and the System Shock remake slated for a vague March 2023 release window. Sadly, while I'm sure we would have all voted for it, the Silent Hill 2 remake from Bloober Team isn't expected until maybe 2024.

by Shawn ZipayFails to live up to others in the genre this franchise helped to create.
The Alone in the Dark reboot was just released today and it seems like the reviews have placed it firmly in the realm of being merely ok but with some serious shortcomings. This release from Pieces Interactive and THQ Nordic currently sits at a 62% critical average on OpenCritic, with only 42% of reviewers recommending this new release.
Interestingly, the actual scores for this game range everywhere...-

All 3 others are intriguing, but I have to put RE4 top because of the sheer quality of the series over the last few years, remakes and new entries alike.
