Between working on the Silent Hill 2 remake and a new Layers of Fear game, Bloober Team should have their plates rather full. Apparently not since it was just announced that Private Division just entered into a publishing agreement with Bloober to create a new survival horror game.

Bloober Team is known for making a number of different horror games, from the more psychological horror in Layers of Fear and The Medium to Observer, and to the more "in your face horror" with The Blair Witch. Honestly, the less said about The Medium, the better. As far as them making a survival horror game, well that remains to be seen on how good or bad that may end up being.

“Our next project is an exciting new survival-horror game, which will help us become a leader in the horror industry at large,” said Piotr Babieno, Chief Executive Officer of Bloober Team. “I am grateful for this cooperation with Private Division. Their expertise is extensive, and their people are also very approachable. We don't perceive them in a typical ‘publisher-developer’ relationship; they’re more like a friend who shows us support or keeps us in line when we need it most.”
This new title with Private Division is still in very early development. No release date for this new project has been announced yet, nor has a title been revealed. Private Division says that they expect the game to be out before 2025, so be sure to check back here in about two years.

Private Division also shared news about a Private Division Development Fund they are starting. They say that this fund will provide "a new vehicle to support projects from smaller developers with project financing to to empower these teams to self-publish their games." The Private Division Development Fund is already helping some studios out including Die Gute Fabrik, Radical Forge, and Lost Native.

Today marks the fifth anniversary of Private Division becoming a new publishing label under Take-Two. The team released a Private Division Label Update video, which you can see below.
