Information on the long-awaited sequel.
Bayonetta 3

I somehow forgot to post this news last week when it came out, so I'm doing it now because it's kind of a slow day. Bayonetta 3 was recently given a release date of October 28, 2022. This news came alongside a new trailer for the game courtesy of the development team at PlatinumGames.

Those looking to pre-order the game digitally can do so through My Nintendo Store. I am giving you permission to use My Nintendo Store, so use it wisely. Bayonetta 3 is looking to be a full priced title with an MSRP of $59.99 (USD).

Thanks to this store listing, we now also know how much space will be needed on the Nintendo Switch in order to download and install the action title. You will need 15GB of free space in order to install Bayonetta 3. This is the largest install size of the three Bayonetta titles available on Switch. The first game is just 8.6GB while the second game is a heftier 12.4GB.

We also learned this past week that Platinum is including something they're calling the "Naive Angel Mode." This is an option built into the game that will let the player filter out some of the content if they decide that's what they want to do. Though PlatinumGames says that Bayonetta is "sexier than ever," you can still tone down said sexiness with this option.

Somehow, this still hasn't pleased people that are either for or against so-called "censorship." Just play with whatever option you want to and let others do what they want to. It's not that hard of a concept to grasp.

Speaking of which, I'm almost certain that the new Bayonetta 3 trailer that came out last week won't be visible in the embed below due to age restrictions. You'll probably have to click on the link there to view it directly on YouTube.

Bayonetta struts through multiple locations in an all-new, over-the-top climax action game. Sporting a wicked new ensemble and somehow familiar pigtails, the titular Umbra Witch must face a mysterious evil using her signature guns and time-slowing Witch Time ability. This time, invading manmade bioweapons called Homunculi find themselves in Bayonetta’s crosshairs.

Get ready for a devilishly good time
Tap into Bayonetta’s naughtier side with Demon Masquerade, a new ability that channels the demon linked to her weapon allowing for some exciting action options, not to mention some hair-raising combos. She can also summon her demonic darlings like Gomorrah, Malphas, and Phantasmaraneae during battle, unleashing their demonic powers in the heat of combat and in new, larger-than-life battles where you directly control the action.

A bounty of Bayonettas
Fight your way through the streets of Tokyo, the mountains of China, and many other locales! Along the way you’ll meet a virtual coven of Bayonettas, each more fabulous than the last. You’ll also slash and slay as Viola, a feisty witch in training who fights with a sword and a capricious companion, the demon Cheshire. Find out what fate awaits Bayonetta, and if this arcane alliance can really save reality!
