Harrison Chang, also known as psalm, is a Fortnite player from the United States. Fortnite, from studio Epic Games, is one of the hottest games among both professional and casual players. It’s also one of the most lucrative games, offering huge prize pots to winning teams. Chang earned $1.8 million by placing second in the 2019 Fortnite World Cup Finals. He has recently branched out and become a Valorant player.


Alyona “Ailey” Bordukova, Alyona “Candy” Kuvaeva, and Anastasiya “Nast1a” Evdokina

While these three women may not officially be ranked in the top 10, they are an impressive trio who have made a name for themselves and have been dominating women’s Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournaments since 2017. Normally seen as a game for the guys, since it’s a military first-person shooter, their success has surprised some people. These three Russian women are mixing things up and showing young gamer girls that they can be successful if they work hard and hone their skills.


Kim “Canyon” Geon-bu

Kim Geon-bu, who is also known by the nickname Polar Bear, is currently considered one of the best League of Legends players in the world. The Korean jungler who plays for team DWG KIA is perhaps best known for his pentakill on 24 July 2020, since it was the first pentakill by a jungler. He has been playing for the same team since 2018, an impressively long time for such a talented gamer to stay on one team.


Illya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk

Dota 2 is one of the most competitive games in the eSports arena and Illya Mulyarchuk is one of its top players. That’s pretty admirable considering he’s only 19 years old. The young Ukrainian currently plays with Team Spirit, a team made up of Russian and Ukrainian players. He holds the record for most rampages in The International main stage, with three.


Sasha “Scarlett” Hostyn

Canadian gamer Sasha Hostyn has been one of the biggest names in gaming for over a decade. In 2015 she was named the most accomplished woman in eSports by The New Yorker, and in 2016 became the highest-earning female gamer. She was the first woman to win a major StarCraft II tournament.

James “TGLTN” Giezen

James Giezen is an Australian PUBG: Battlegrounds player who is currently playing with Soniqs. His name TGLTN, also sometimes written as “tigelton”, is a cheeky play on words since it spells out ‘not legit’ backwards. At the PUBG Continental Series 4 and Series 5: Americas tournaments he received the Kill Leader award. He is widely regarded as one of the best PUBG players in the world as well as one of the most fun to watch due to his charm and charisma.


Gustavo “Psycho” Rigal

Not only is Gustavo Rigal one of the best Rainbow Six Siege players in the world, he’s also on the team with the best name: Ninjas in Pyjamas. He plays as the in-game leader for the tactical shooter game inspired by the works of one of the biggest military-action novelists,Tom Clancy. Gustavo has been teammates with fellow Brazilian player João “Kamikaze” Gomes since 2014.


Marc “MaRc_By_8” Domingo

Marc Domingo is a Rocket League player and member of Team BDS. Rocket League is one of the more original eSports games out there, combining soccer and rocket-powered cars. This Spanish player’s record speaks for itself: he and his team have been dominant across most of the tournaments they’ve played in since 2020.
