Though originally slated to release on September 30, 2021, Life is Strange Remastered Collection, has been pushed back a fair number of months. This remastered collection of the first two Life is Strange titles, Life is Strange and Before the Storm, will now be released in early 2022.

The decision to delay the release was made in order to remove some of the pressure from the development team. Of course, the whole pandemic thing that is still going on (get vaccinated FFS!) hasn't helped matters any either. The Life is Strange team offered up a full explanation via Twitter earlier today.

These remasters will include upgraded visuals. This includes "vastly improved character animation," lighting work, and texture work. Those who pick up the ultimate edition of Life is Strange: True Colors will get a copy of Life is Strange Remastered Collection for free when it releases. Speaking of which, True Colors is still on track to be released on September 10, 2021.
