    Life is Strange: Remastered Collection Dated for February 1

    A solid release date is now known once more.

    In August, Square Enix passed along word that Life is Strange: Remastered Collection was being delayed. The game was originally slated to arrive on September 30, 2021 but was pushed to a nebulous early 2022 release window. Today, Square Enix says that a solid release date was once again selected: February 1, 2022.

    Life is Strange Remastered Collection Hit with Delay

    The release has been pushed to "alleviate any additional pressure" on the dev team.

    Though originally slated to release on September 30, 2021, Life is Strange Remastered Collection, has been pushed back a fair number of months. This remastered collection of the first two Life is Strange titles, Life is Strange and Before the Storm, will now be released in early 2022.

    Life is Strange: True Colors Announced

    Square Enix to host a digital event showcase next week.

    On March 18, Square Enix will host Square Enix Presents: Spring 2021. This showcase will feature the world premiere of a new Life is Strange game. In addition, it will also feature fresh looks at existing and upcoming titles such as Outriders, Marvel's Avengers, Tomb Raider 25th Anniversary, new titles from Square Enix Montreal, Just Cause Mobile, and Balan Wonderworld.

    Dontnod Partially Acquired by Tencent

    Life sure is strange.

    The Life is Strange and Vampyr developers at Dontnod now have a little financial boost courtesy of the Chinese tech giant, Tencent. Tencent has acquired a minority stake in Dontnod, a company that was valued at roughly $41M (USD).
