A new map, a new ball type, more events, and more.
Developer Velan Studios just detailed some of the new content coming in Season 2 of Knockout City when it kicks off on July 27th. Some of this newly revealed content includes a new ball type, new map, new cosmetics, new contracts, and even some new special events.
The new map will bring the total map count up to seven. This total includes the Jukebox Junction map that was released just a few weeks after the game was released. We don't have a name for this new map yet, but I'm sure it will be revealed the closer to release we get next month.
All of this new content was revealed as part of the newly released roadmap that Velan shared today. As you can see below, Season 3 will arrive this Fall, with Season 4 dropping in the Winter. It's obviously far too early to talk about those seasons just yet.
Until late July, fans of the game can continue to enjoy the currently ongoing, and very appropriately named, Heatwave event. Collect some popsicles and earn some unique cosmetics.
If you haven't yet tried Knockout City, you can do so right now without paying a single penny until you hit rank 25. The first 25 ranks of play are available to everyone at which point you can purchase the title to keep playing indefinitely. It's a hell of a lot of fun and I highly recommend you give it a try.

by Shawn ZipayNew maps, modes, weapons, and more.
Season 3 just launched for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Today's new update includes new content for essentially all of the game's many game modes from maps, weapons, entirely new modes for multiplayer, new Operators, new events, new customization options, and much more.
Apparently this Season for Modern Warfare 3 will include a new Blaze Up event, which I'm going to assume begins around April 20th for some reason. There is also...-

by Shawn ZipayA re-launch of the "dodgebrawl" game comes with some big changes.
Last year, EA and developer Velan Studios launched Knockout City. This rather intense take on the sport of dodgeball was pretty great, but the fact that it came with a price tag meant that it was leaving a lot of potential players on the table. The price was, undoubtedly, left up to publisher EA and they decided that a full free-to-play experience wasn't going to cut it.
Well, EA is apparently...-

by Shawn ZipayTake me down to a knockout city where the grass is green...
EA has just released the Velan Studios developed game Knockout City, the team-based multiplayer game that brings dodgeball to the digital world. Sorry, it's actually "dodgebrawl" as this press release is telling me. Players are able to pick up the game for free from now through May 30.
Players will experience fast-paced gameplay throughout five maps with interactive environments. Ball types? This game...-
