Today, as in right this second, you can play Maneater on PC via Steam, Xbox Game Pass, and even the Nintendo Switch. Though the game was available on the PC before today, it was locked to the Epic Games Store. We reviewed the initial release of the game back in June 2020 if you want to check that out. We found the game to be pretty decent, but nothing super great.
The version available for Game Pass is for both the PC and Xbox. It will stick around for a period of six months starting from today.
In Maneater, you play as a shark. You need to grow big and strong to take on ever larger aquatic foes. You are also dealing with some pesky humans along the way. The game retails for $39.99 (USD) with a bonus 15% discount for the Steam version at launch.
