Free demos are always cool to see.

As of May 1, Media Molecule announced and released a free demo for Dreams to everyone that owns a PlayStation 4. This demo can be downloaded via the PlayStation Store. From the looks of the store page, the game is also currently on sale for up to 25% off, making it just $29.99 (USD) for a limited time.

Media Molecule says that the demo includes access to a rotating playlist of some of their favorite creations made within Dreams. This includes The Omithologist's Private Collection, Ruckus, Cubric, Player Piano Player, Art Therapy, and Great Job Human.

The demo also includes roughly the first 20 minutes of Media Molecule's own musical narrative adventure, Art's Dream. The team also allows anyone to check out the Dreams companion site and add dreams to your Play Later queue. Assuming you buy the full game, those dreams will be waiting for you in the DreamSurfing mode.

In addition, those who purchase the full version will be able to continue playing through Art's Dream right where you left off in the demo. Of course, the full game also includes tons of creative tutorials that will teach you how to create your own dreams. There are also various community jams that will push your creativity to new heights. There are also the thousands of games and experiences that community members have already created for the game.

Media Molecule also released a new "Dreaming With..." video series. The first video arrives on May 15, but a teaser trailer can be found below. The series will have creators from various studios such as Pixelopus, Naughty Dog, Insomniac, and Media Molecule talking about the joys and challenges of making games.
