Full release includes additional content.
On May 28, Dungeon Defenders: Awakened will be leaving Steam Early Access. This co-op focused game blends together tower defense with some hands-on action. The full release on May 28 will include "an arsenal of fresh content." This content looks to be new bosses, game modes, difficulty settings, and more.
In Dungeon Defenders: Awakened, you and some pals will build up a variety of defenses to fight against waves of enemies. These enemies include goblins, elves, demons, and dragons to name a few. You will square off against these foes across "over a dozen maps." There are also four playable heroes to choose from that have a number of attacks to help in the battle.
Players can team up with some co-op pals to play through the game's "time-travelling story." There are also a variety of other modes and challenge levels that you can attempt to tackle. Dungeon Defenders: Awakened also includes a new Massacre Mode that has some unique enemy types.
Dungeon Defenders: Awakened can be purchased and played in its current Early Access form for $39.99 (USD) through Steam.
