    The list of games nominated for each category were revealed today.
    Resident Evil 2

    It's that time of year again. The leaves are changing color. Thoughts of delicious turkey start to fill the minds of Americans. And the nominations for the upcoming Game Awards are revealed. Though the winners won't be revealed until the show itself takes place on December 12 across all sorts of streaming services.

    At least you can get a few weeks of complaining in before the show airs and the winners are announced. "What?! How could Death Stranding be nominated for nine categories?" "What do you mean Control has eight nominations while my favorite game got snubbed?" "Collusion! Collusion! Collusion!" At least save the hot takes until after I get through the full list of nominees?

    If you really want, you can head on over to the official Game Awards website to cast your vote for who you think will win. I mean, your vote doesn't actually help determine the winners, but it might make you feel good about yourself.

    The list below includes most everything except for the esports stuff.
