    Remedy Now Controls the Alan Wake IP

    Alan Wake teases more platforms.

    Remedy Entertainment has regained the publishing rights to the Alan Wake franchise from Microsoft.

    The development studio is currently working on Control, but they apparently found a bit of time to acquire the rights to the horror-action romp starring an author. The company told investors that they would earn €2.5 million on royalties for "previously released games" this fiscal year.

    As part of today's GDC presentation, Epic Games announced a number of timed exclusives that are coming first to the Epic Games Store. Among these games are The Outer Worlds, Control from Remedy Entertainment, and even some PlayStation 4 exclusives like Detroit: Become Human from Quantic Dream.

    Some of these titles, such as The Outer Worlds, will also appear on the Microsoft Store for Windows 10. I guess this just lends more confirmation that Epic is less about purchasing exclusives...
