This Nintendo Switch release is in addition to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and on PC via the Windows Store and Epic Games Store versions that were previously confirmed. Unfortunately, the Nintendo Switch release will come after it's out on the previously mentioned platforms.

Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey Gameplay Footage and Epic Exclusive Details

Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick says exclusives "will be rare."

Another Take-Two title is confirmed to be a timed exclusive to the Epic Games Store. Previously, the Take-Two Private Division label published title, The Outer Worlds, is a one year timed exclusive to the Epic Games Store. Yes, it's also out on the same day to the Microsoft Store because Obsidian is now owned by MS and there are many business issues at work. As part of today's GDC presentation, Epic Games announced a number of timed exclusives that are coming first to the Epic Games Store. Among these games are The Outer Worlds, Control from Remedy Entertainment, and even some PlayStation 4 exclusives like Detroit: Become Human from Quantic Dream.

Some of these titles, such as The Outer Worlds, will also appear on the Microsoft Store for Windows 10. I guess this just lends more confirmation that Epic is less about purchasing exclusives and more about simply paying companies to keep their games off of Steam. Consumers should not...

Obsidian Announces The Outer Worlds - Think Sci-Fi Fallout in Space

Think back to the last great Fallout game and chances are you're thinking of Fallout: New Vegas. That game was developed by Obsidian Entertainment. Now imagine Obsidian took all of that great stuff, had the financial backing of Microsoft behind them, and created an entirely original game with a healthy smattering of new gameplay ideas. You would probably have The Outer Worlds, the latest game to be revealed by Obsidian Entertainment.

They also just happen to be the original studio behind Fallout. Huh, fancy that!

The development studio announced their new title tonight at The Game Awards and hot damn am I ever excited for it.

The game already has a page up on Stea...
