The release is sooner than you think.

KillHouse Games announced the release dates for their console versions of Door Kickers: Action Squad today. This is a side-scrolling game that pits the side of the Law against the bad guys and "unspoken horrors."

For those of you on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, you'll get the game on October 24. For those of you on the Switch, you need to wait just a little bit longer for October 28.

Door Kickers: Action Squad is being billed as an "old-school side-scroller with a touch of strategy and tactics on top of ridiculous SWAT style action." Players will literally kick down doors to rescue hostages in either single player missions or with a buddy in co-op multiplayer. There is also an option to play locally with your couch buddy.

For the most part, this is the same game that released on the PC in late 2018. However, this release includes a new chapter with 12 additional levels. There is also a new playable character, the Off-Duty Guy. This new content will be released as a free upgrade for everyone.
