Get a look at the game ahead of its reveal at the L.A. Comic Con.
Those who are going to the L.A. Comic Con this weekend will get to check out a new isometric stealth game called Winter Ember.
Winter Ember is an upcoming isometric steal game from Sky Machine Studios. It's a game set in a Victorian looking world and it follows Arthur Artorias, a "faceless man set in pursuit of answers and revenge." The game picks up after Arthur spent almost a decade in exile. He was stripped of his family, his fortune, and even his past. Arthur returns to his home city of Anargal where a religious militant faction called Greater Heaven has seized control of everything in the time he was gone.
Arthur will utilize his wits and the shadows to navigate through the environment. Along the way he will find various treasures and unlock new mysteries. You can scope out rooms through keyholes or around corners. You can even find hidden enemies before they get the jump on you. Arthur will also make use of hidden passages to navigate through the world.
The development team says that there are multiple paths and multiple solutions to every problem. Greater rewards will be revealed to those who like to explore. There is even some combat in the game for those that aren't stealth gods. You will be able to escape those situations by making use of "more than 30 specialty arrows" that you can craft.
