The stream promises to include some new news and reveals.
State of Play September 2019

Sony just announced that on September 24 at 1PM (PT; 4PM ET), a new episode of "State of Play" will be streamed. This is the first State of Play for PlayStation since early this year in May. That particular event didn't have too much in the way of new information, but it did provide us with the release date for MediEvil.

What can we expect on Tuesday? According to the PlayStation Blog entry from Sony's director of social media Sid Shuman, we will see a bunch of new stuff. Specifically, we will see "new game reveals, new content from PlayStation's Worldwide Studios, and a host of other updates."

You will be able to watch the stream on Twitch, YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook.

The entire show is slated to be about 20 minutes in length. I maybe wouldn't expect any major reveals here, but you never know. I also definitely wouldn't expect to hear anything about the next-gen PlayStation during this. I say this because Shuman literally says not to expect anything related to that in the blog post.

"Oh, and it probably bears mentioning: Don’t expect any updates related to our next-gen plans in this episode."
See?
