Blair Witch promises to deliver a 4K gaming experience when it launches on the Xbox One X and PC on August 30, 2019. Pre-orders for the game are available now at the Blair Witch website. Those that get the base game for $29.99 (USD) on Steam will get a free upgrade to the Deluxe Edition for free. This includes the game, the OST, and "The Art of Blair Witch." If you wait until after release, the Deluxe Edition will run you $34.99.

    About Blair Witch
From the creative minds behind the critically acclaimed Layers of Fear, experience first-hand the toll that fear can take on the mind in an original story. Blair Witch is a first-person psychological horror game that studies your reactions to danger and stress. Your darkest fears will awaken.

It’s 1996. A young boy disappears in the Black Hills Forest near Burkittsville, Maryland. As Ellis, a former police officer with a troubled past, you join the search - with your trusted canine companion, Bullet, at your side. What starts as an ordinary investigation soon turns into an endless nightmare as you confront your fears and the Blair Witch, a mysterious force that haunts the woods.

Everything is more frightening in VR.

Bloober Team and Lionsgate just announced a VR version of their recent-ish Blair Witch horror game. On October 29, you will be able to experience Blair Witch: Oculus Quest Edition, a VR offering of the team's latest horror title. It will be available for purchase for just $29.99 from the Oculus Store. I say the game is "recent-ish" because while it may be Bloober Team's latest release, it did still come out about a year ago in non-VR...

Built specifically for the VR experience.

The Oculus Store got a little bit more spooky today. No, I'm not talking about how it's run by Facebook, that's certainly frightening in its own right. No, I am talking about how Blair Witch: Oculus Quest Edition was just released on the Oculus Store for $29.99 (USD).

Blair Witch: Oculus Quest Edition is a "story-driven, psychological VR horror game that immerses players in with the terror hidden in the Black Hills Forest."...

Though it shares the name with The Blair Witch Project from 1999, this is an original story based off of that franchise. The story is set in 1996 after a young boy disappears in the Black Hills Forest...
