Devolver Digital and FromSoftware announced that Metal Wolf Chaos XD will be released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on August 6. Are you a bad enough dude to become a butt-kicking, mech using President of the United States?

The upcoming release in August is a modernized re-release of a game that originally came out back in 2004 for the Xbox and only in Japan. You assume the role of President Michael Wilson as he defends the nation against an attack led by Vice-President Richard Hawk. You, as the President, will utilize a kick-ass mech to kick ass against plenty of mech using bad guys who want to kick your ass.

The game went on to become something of legend as it was hard to acquire and even harder to play outside of Japan. Devolver Digital and FromSoftware have partnered together with developer General Arcade to modernize Metal Wolf Chaos with updates to the game including upgraded visual fidelity, refined controls and gameplay, a new save system, and 4K + 16:9 support for modern displays.
