A release date has been set for The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan. The game, which blends elements of suspense, horror, and narrative storytelling, will be released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam on August 30, 2019.
This game is being worked on by Supermassive Games, whom you may best know for having brought Until Dawn to the world on the PlayStation 4. They also brought other games to the table, which maybe weren't as great, but we don't like to talk about those.
Those who pre-order the game ahead of release will get Day 1 access to the "Curator's Cut" of the game. This will offer up "different options and an alternative path through the game, experienced from an entirely new perspective." You'll have to beat the base game first in order to actually access the Curator's Cut though. This Curator's Cut content will be available to those that did not pre-order the game at a later date.
