Microsoft revealed not one, not two, but THREE new Gears games today during their E3 conference. At least one of them is decidedly unlike anything you would probably ever want from that franchise. One is perhaps closer to what you may enjoy, Gears Tactics. And the last one is just Gears 5. That's Gears 5, not Gears of War 5.

Let's start with the first announcement that was made, Gears Pop!. It's an upcoming mobile game for Android and iOS devices that will be released in 2019. Yes, it's a Gears game with Funko Pop! characters. I don't know either.
Gears of War and Funko POP! join forces to bring a new Gears game to mobile devices for the first time. Coming in 2019.

Alrighty. Next up is a strategy game set in the Gears universe. Appropriately, it's called Gears Tactics. They showed off a few seconds of footage for Gears Tactics during the E3 presentation but it doesn't seem like it was worthy of having its own trailer put up on the Xbox YouTube. Instead, here's a logo. This one is "coming soon."

And finally, we have the third big reveal after the emotional rollercoaster that were the first two Gears reveals. It's Gears 5 and it will be released at some point in 2019.

Gears 5 has both a Cinematic Announce trailer and an Announce trailer. I've included them both because why not.
