With the hype continuing to surround PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (or PUBG for short), it could be easy to forget that other "Hunger Game" style games still exist. Daybreak wants to make sure you haven't forgotten about H1Z1: King of the Kill because they actually passed along word about a new update that rolled out this week. It's a real big update with lots of new additions, so you'll want to keep reading.
• The return of Skirmishes, special weekend matches with rotating alternate rulesets (e.g., limited weapon types, safe zones that behave differently, etc.) to add variety to the action. This update’s ruleset will be “Shotties & Snipers,” which means only shotguns and hunting rifles will spawn in the world when playing in a Skirmish.
• Improvements to hit registration, which should result in greater consistency with player movement, positioning and firing.
• Updates to the world map that add three new landmarks for players to fight around and within.
• Streamlined inventory screens to improve access and understanding for players.
• Revamp of shotgun to connect more consistently with targets when shooting.

Those are just the highlights. The full changelog can be found here or you can check out the developer update video below. A better idea would be to watch the video and then go read the full list of changes.
