Konami Spits on the Ashes of the Metal Gear Franchise

Konami didn't actually spit on anything (that we're aware of), but they may as well have. You see, the company released a new trailer today for a new entry in the Metal Gear Solid franchise.

It's for a series of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater pachinko machines. Yes, they even made new cinematics for this. There are simply no words.

  I know you're a hardcore Metal Gear fan, but can we not give KPE any attention and just let them go f*** themselves? I feel like posting news about them is a good thing for them, and I don't think we want that.
  
  Heck it might even entice Kojima to play a game or two if news spread on the internet reaches him.

  What's weird to me is how detailed that CG is, it looks pretty darn good, even including bosses using their exact animations from the PS2 game.

At long, long last, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots will no longer be confined to the PlayStation 3. With last week's announcement of Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2, Konami will finally get Metal Gear Solid 4 into the hands of a much larger audience.

Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 Out October 24

New gameplay and platforms were revealed for this collection.

We got ourselves another look at Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 today during the Nintendo Direct. Today's new trailer includes some new gameplay footage along with details about release platforms and release date.
